MUIRFIELD eNEWS: JULY 27, 2018

Glick Rd. bridge closes all weekend; report from July Board meeting

Reminder: The Glick Rd. bridge over the O'Shaughnessy Dam closes at 7 pm this evening, and reopens early Monday, hopefully before rush hour. So, coming home from the Zoo or Zoombezi Bay at that time, or going out to dine tonight on that side of the river, or to the Dublin Market Saturday morning? Keep this in mind and take one of the other bridges, like Emerald Parkway, Home Rd. or Bridge St.

At our July Board Meeting we heard from General Manager Walter Zeier that 91% of plans submitted to the Design Control Committee were approved, continuing the process of facilitating the updating of landscaping and homes in Muirfield. Remember, you can call the office to request an hour of free, in-home consultation by an architect or a landscape architect, or or you may schedule your own appointment with the landscape architect here. The Board and staff provide this service to encourage our residents to maintain the pristine and up to date look of Muirfield.

The Board affirmed a no-smoking policy policy on recreation property such as pools, and added that this includes vaping. And please remember that pets are not allowed into pool areas.

Looks like ideal weather this weekend for use of our pools, tennis courts, basketball court, Smurfield and your enjoyment of our 29 miles of multi-use paths! Isn't Muirfield ViIlage is a great place to live?

Questions, reply to Bob Fathman.
