Whether you are a novice gardener or an experienced gardener,
we have something of interest for you. MVGC, organized in 1979,
is a part of the Garden Clubs of Ohio and the National Garden Club.
Our membership is open to anyone interested in learning more about
gardening and plants, advancing civic beautification and encouraging
additions to the landscape that assure a bounty of nature in our backyards.
Recently we installed and maintain the Blue Star Marker and Garden at the Dublin Cemetery. In December we used period decor including dried flowers and fruit to decorate the Coffman Homestead for Dublin's Christmas Tree Lighting and Holly Days. Our monthly meetings have included speakers, demonstrations, and hands-on gardening activities. We've also traveled to the Chadwick Arboretum, a daylily garden and Lynd's Fruit Farm. It's not all work when lunch and social time are involved! Most meetings are at 12:30 p.m.
