MUIRFIELD eNEWS: APRIL 26, 2017

In this issue:

Photo ID Card Extended Hours

If you don't have a Muirfield photo ID card yet, we’re open late to serve you! A Muirfield photo ID card is required to enter the pool facilities (whether swimming or not) and must be shown if you choose to pick up pool guest passes at the pools. Old Muirfield ID cards (without photos) are not accepted for entrance, so be certain to stop by the office for a new card before the pools open on May 27!

Come to the Association office any of the following dates:

Cards will be made on the spot and it only takes 3 minutes per card! Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. While you’re waiting this short time, you can pick up your pool guest passes! Read more about other ways to obtain pool guest passes.

What if I'm a new resident?

If you are a new resident that has never registered with our office, you must register in order to receive cards. The new resident form is available online or at our office. For faster service, bring the completed form with you or email it to info@muirfieldassociation.com.

Do I need to renew my card?

If you already have a Muirfield photo ID card, you don’t need to do anything (unless you rent your home or still have extended family living full time in your home). Just bring your current card to the pool!

If you are a renter, you must provide a current copy of your lease to the office. The lease must list the property address, the name(s) of the resident(s) living in the home, and the terms (beginning and expiration dates) of the lease. You are welcome to black out other information. Leases may be emailed to info@muirfieldassociation.com or brought to the office. The office will reactivate your existing card(s) once the lease is received. You don’t need to obtain new cards.

If you have extended family living full time in your home, the home owner must register or renew those persons with the Association office. Fill out a new resident form, listing all persons living in the home, and turn in or email the form to the office.

Do I need to have a new photo taken?

Adult photos do not need to be retaken. Children’s photos should be retaken if the child looks significantly older than their photo. The original ID card must be surrendered at the time a new photo is taken. If the original card has been lost, there is a $10 fee for a new card. An adult must accompany children 17 and under to have an ID card issued.

What if I’ve lost my card?

If you have lost or misplaced your card, you must purchase a replacement card for $10. The office accepts cash or checks. Photos do not need to be retaken for replacement cards; the office can reuse the original photo.

The office still has a number of cards that were never picked up from the pools. Please call or stop by if you have never picked up your card because the office may have it.

The pools open on May 27, so don’t delay getting your Muirfield photo ID! Contact us if you have any questions.

Reminder: Holbrook Tennis Courts Closed

Tennis court repairs are underway at the Holbrook Recreation Complex. The fence has been removed and resurfacing is beginning this week. The courts will be entirely resurfaced and re-striped, then a new fence will be installed. The courts will be unavailable for play for several weeks.

You are welcome to use the tennis courts at the Glick Road facility while work is in progress at the Holbrook courts.

Association Office Expansion Construction

Construction has begun on the expansion of the Association office. When completed, the office will have an expanded design review area plus a lift for persons who’d like assistance to get to the second floor. The maintenance and storage facility is also being expanded to provide additional work bays, a mechanical work area, a wood shop and storage. Please pardon our noise and dust during construction!

Memorial Tournament Information Mailed

The Muirfield Village Golf Club has made us aware that they mailed Tournament information and parking passes to residents on April 20. This package includes parking information, parking passes, temporary property addition rules (such as tents), and more. Please watch your mailbox!

The Golf Club has provided a copy of the letter to the office in case yours is misplaced. However, be aware that the Association office does not issue parking passes. Please contact the Golf Club ticket office at 614-889-6712 for concerns or questions.

The Memorial Tournament will take place May 29 - June 4. Visit https://thememorialtournament.com/ for more information.
