Muirfield Alert: Muirfield Streets Will See Impact From Many Projects

Yes, construction season is here. The latest:

  1. The City is improving various tunnels in Muirfield this year. Beginning the week of April 16, lane restrictions are expected between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in two locations: Memorial Drive near Holyrood Court and Concord Road north of Glick Road. Two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers if necessary.
  2. Dublin Road Sanitary Work: A sanitary sewer crew will be working along Dublin Road between Memorial Drive and Glick Road beginning the week of April 16. There will be intermittent lane closures on southbound Dublin Road between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. One lane, two-way traffic will be maintained with flaggers.
  3. Glick Road Bridge Work & Sidewalk Closure: The City of Columbus will be making improvements to the O’Shaughnessy Dam between April 18 – May 9, 2018. This work will result in the partial closure of the north sidewalk along Glick Road. No vehicular traffic impacts are expected. Crews will be replacing the gates that regulate flow to the powerhouse.
  4. Dublin is going to re-surface the following streets this year [asterisked streets are being repaved just at the cul de sac]: *Balloc Ct., Bellisle Cr., Carnoustie Ct., Carnoustie Dr., Cartney Ct., Davington Dr., Dundon Ct., Dunskeath Ct., Gleneagles Ct., Greenstone Pt., Haddington C., Haddington Dr., Kirkaldy Ct., Lea Ct., Lerwick Dr., *Macewen Ct., Preston Mill Ct. and Way, Royal Lytham Ct., *Springburn Dr., St. ALbans Pl., St. Ann's Ct., Turin Hill Ct. N.
  5. The Ashbaugh bridge is going to be completely replaced. This is the historic road off of Brand used for Tournament parking. It is 98 years old!
  6. Guardrails on Memorial at Kilbirnie Ct. and west of Cartney Ct. will be rehabbed or replaced.
  7. Waterlines will be replaced on: Springburn Ct., Macewen Ct., Balloch Ct. and Dunskeath Ct. Homeowners will receive letters from the CIty about the projects, and will see flags marking the route.
