Muirfins Swim Team Signups Starting Now - April 30th!
The Muirfins Swim Team season is right around the Corner! Join us Monday April 8th from 6-8pm at Eli Pinney Elementary for an informational meeting and suit fitting session. The Muirfins Swim Team is the community swim team for families who live in Muirfield Village. Our mission is to get Muirfield kids off the couch or screen they're glued to and outside for some good, healthy summer fun and competition! We accept kids ages 5 - 18. There are no try-outs - we will work with all levels of swimmers (as long as the child can swim one length of the pool unassisted). We are a Swim Team, not a Swim Lesson program.
Our team is 140+ swimmers strong consisting of all levels of swimmers from 1st year swim team members to high school and year-round competitive swimmers. We want kids in our community to get the team experience and have a fun summer activity that can develop into a love of an exciting sport but also be a great way to interact with other kids all summer long (without a screen!). We do lots of fun activities including "Fun Fridays," potluck breakfasts, Kona Ice Day and an end of season team party. The kids practice Monday - Friday during the season and compete in meets each Wednesday night. Our season runs May 28th - July 17th.
The Fins a part of the NEW League with 9 other local teams; Dublin Dolphins Arctic, Dublin Dolphins Atlantic, Dublin Dolphins Pacific, Marysville Stingrays, Northland Tiger Sharks, Lifetime Fitness, Olentangy Tornadoes, Plain City Stars and Sycamore Hills Swim Club.
