MUIRFIELD eNEWS: September 02, 2019

END OF SUMMER UPDATE

1. This week has a Monday holiday, so remember that yard waste recycling occurs on Tuesday, trash and recycling on Thursday!

2. Mark your calendar. Meet the Police — The Muirfield Civic Action Committee is hosting a Meet the Police event at the Muirfield Gazebo by the Muirfield Drive pool on October 1st at 6:30 – 7:30 pm. The police will be there to discuss crime in Muirfield and surrounding areas and offer suggestions as to what we can do to help prevent crimes. This will be a great opportunity to meet the police officers and to ask the police questions you may have. The new Chief of Police, Justin Paez, tells me he is planning to be here.

3. I learned today that the two-day closure of Carnoustie Drive, originally due to take place this coming week, has been pushed back to the week of Sept. 9th. I don't know the exact days yet, but will let you all know as soon as those have been determined.

I hope you all had an enjoyable weekend, one without hail damage!
