Tunnel Under Memorial Drive Closed for Construction
A pathway tunnel under Memorial Drive is currently closed for a City of Dublin tunnel restoration project. The tunnel is located to the east of Strathmore Lane and Dunniker Park Dr. and to the west of Kilbernie Ct. and Glenbervie Ct. An aerial view is at the end of this email.
The City of Dublin will be reconstructing the face of the tunnel. They are currently locating utilities so that construction can begin. The duration of the tunnel closure is to be determined.
If you regularly use this portion of the pathways, please plan for an alternate route. There are pathway maps on our website. We recently became aware that Google Maps shows many sections of the Muirfield pathway system! On smartphones, use the Google Maps app or search for "Muirfield Village Dublin Ohio" on Google Maps in a browser. Staff was able to successfully pull up maps that included the pathways on an iPhone, an Android and a Windows phone, however, it was noted that not all pathways were shown.
As soon as our office finds out more information about this closure from the City of Dublin, we will send an update.
