Go to ‘Muirfield Village Life’ drop-down box, click on ‘Activities -Swimming’; at the top of the link you will be able to download the pool activity sheet. To see the tennis activity sheet, follow the same path, but click on ‘Tennis’. The Activity Sheets will be mailed to all residents in late March.

The Nominating Committee for the Muirfield Board of Trustees is accepting names in consideration for nomination to the Board of Trustees and Grounds & Facilities Committee.
Members of the Board of Trustees are responsible for setting policies pertaining to the Muirfield Warranty Deed and Articles of Incorporation. They approve the annual operating budget and capital expenditures. The Board of Trustees meets at 4:30 p.m., at the Association office, on the second Wednesday of every other month. This year, three members will be elected to serve three-year terms.
The Grounds & Facilities Committee, made up of nine members, serve as liaisons to the Board of Trustees. This committee was developed to gather recommendations and make suggestions to the Board of Trustees pertaining to the maintenance of pathways, landscaping, lakes and capital projects for the common areas as well as making recommendations pertaining to the rules, maintenance, safety, programs and capital projects for the pool and tennis facilities. Committee members meet with the General Manager at the Association office on the last Monday of every other month at 5:30 p.m. The Chairman of the committee presents a report at the Board of Trustee meetings. This year, three members will be elected to serve three-year terms.
If you are interested in serving on either of these committees, contact one of the members of the Nominating Committee soon. Deadline for returning the application is March 1st.

Did you receive the December 2011 issue of the Association’s newsletter? It is full of news articles and announces the new Tennis Pro for 2012. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Grounds & Facilities Committee or the Board of Trustees, the last page of the newsletter has the form you’ll need to complete. The newsletter was sent electronically on December 23rd. If you didn’t receive it through your email, the association doesn’t have your email address on file. We encourage you to provide your email address to our office.

The Association offers free architectural services to our residents to help them with these goals.
Architect, Richard Taylor, and Landscape Architect, John Reiner, have been hired by the Association to meet with you, up to an hour, free of charge. They’ll help you sort out your ideas, give their expert advice, and assist you toward getting your ideas into an approvable direction following good design principles and adhering to Muirfield’s design standards.
If you are interested in having Rich or John visit with you at your home, call Sandy at the Association office, 889-0922, to get set up for this free service. The Board of Trustees is proud to offer this service to our residents. As far as we know, Muirfield Association is the only homeowner’s association in the country offering this type of service to its residents!
